2024 DallasEEI Research Summit

-Dallas students work with a teacher to propose a research project that centers on water conservation and/or water quality.

-DallasEEI determines which projects get funded and then students have the opportunity to test their hypothesis and present their findings at a research summit event.

-Students get real-world experience working with graduate students, City of Dallas Officials and UNT professors.

-Students CAN participate in both the hands-on research opportunity and the video essay contest!

-Dallas students work independently to create a video essay to educate and inform the public about a generalized theme or topic.

-Students get the opportunity to engage with research and share it with the public in their own creative way.

-Students get to engage with the environmental work currently being done while finding creative ways to share essential information with Dallas residents.

-Students CAN participate in both the hands-on research opportunity and the video essay contest!

-Finalists will have their video played at the summit screening event.
